Road To Angora

English Angoras by P. Ricardo and Sons.

Guestbook

Our family would like to thank everyone for supporting us during this horrific ordeal.  Unfortunately, the culprits have not been caught.  However, we have decided to move forward with our endeavors raising and showing English Angoras.

We are in the process of acquiring stock to add to the pair that survived.  Unfortunately, we are estimating it will take us one year to be able to get back to our former competitive level.  However, we are energized and ready to take the challenge.

Without everybody's support, I don't believe we would have survived this ordeal.  I am ashamed to admit that for many days after the event, I kept thinking of quitting and, unfortunately, this feeling was filtering down to my sons.  However, having friends in the "rabbit world" and abroad that supported us, has shown us we are not alone and we can conquer any issue that comes our way.

Lord Bless,

P. Ricardo and Sons

OMG, Ricardo...I am so shocked and heartbroken about this....We here in New Zealand heard the story about the Angoras and I was so shaken by that, I had nightmares about it. I so felt for the owners of the Rabbits, not knowing it was you. I just came to your website again today and realized that there were your beautiful bunnies....I am crying, it is so so sad. I wish they find the person who did it and that they get a strong punishment for their horrible crime.
Ricardo, i wish you and your family and your remaining rabbits the best, you are all in my prayers and thoughts.
with a very heavy heart and kindest regards,
Kerstin Watson and family (Vivelly Stud, Home of the Angoras in New Zealand)

This is truly a sad sad story. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. We are in search for a beautiful angora rabbit for our little girl and it is important to buy one from a great breeder. It really looks like yall loved and love your little bunnies. I am so sorry for your loss, if you know of a great breeder that you trust, or you get your rabbitry back, we would love to purchase an angora. Thanks and God bless......christal.cureington@gmail.com

I am truly sorry to hear about your loss. My family and I have two bunnies (a mini lop and a Dutch) and they are very much considered family members as opposed to 'just pets'. Please accept our condolences. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Ricardo, So sorry to hear about this terrible crime. You and your family are in our prayers. Anyone that could hurt an angora must be a horrible person. I have english angoras and jersey woolies and could not believe the news. They are the most gentle of creature. We read your blog and have visited your web site. So sorry and take care.-Dru Shepherd

God Bless you and your family in dealing with your recent loss. I cannot believe that anyone on this earth could do such a thing. I met you and your beautiful rabbits while with my daughter at the Seguin show. Along with our rabbitry, we also make and sell cages including specialty cages and custom rabbitry set ups. I would be happy to volunteer time and tools to rebuild your rabbitry. I will stay in touch through my daughter and maybe we can have a work day when you are ready. Again, God Bless!
